I worked with Christine as a board member of the University YMCA while she was the executive director. She was a respected leader, who surrounded herself with a first-rate staff. We worked closely together on the annual fundraising campaign, which continues to be an annual success, thanks in large part to the foundation laid by Christine. She accomplished all of this while having competing duties in her role with the larger regional YMCA organization. Her strategic planning strengths were evident when she left her position and transitioned her duties to a new executive director. The transition was smooth and our small YMCA branch continues to thrive. Christine was also instrumental in recruiting an energized, engaged board of directors.
